To what lenghts would you go to unravel a family mystery? When a long, forgotten object is discovered, Julia embarks on the jouney of her life. “The Whistle” is a tale of mystery, intrigue, love and family, set amid the horrors of WWII.

I am an author, artist and speaker living in Napanee, Ontario. I have been an artist for more than 40 years and a writer for the past 12. When I’m not exploring my creative side, I travel, contribute to my community and spend time with my Grandkids.

My book research has led me to hundreds of individual stories about WWII . It has been my privilege to share these stories through my books and speaking engagements across Southern Ontario, Halifax, Juno Beach Centre and Brittany France.
